The Skandino® 3-Piece Feeding Set is a children's tableware set consisting of a cup, plate, and spoon, designed to help young children develop their first independent feeding skills.
Made and designed in Finland, Skandino® was created in collaboration with speech therapists and occupational therapists, with particular attention to children's needs and their natural development during mealtimes.
A set designed for independence
The Skandino® Cup promotes the development of natural swallowing ability and helps the child learn to drink from a regular cup.
The downward conical shape and the limiting lid help control the flow of liquid, while the long, thick handles make it easy to grip and control the cup.
When the child has gained more independence, the cup can also be used without the lid.
Unlike traditional spout cups, the Skandino® Cup allows drinking in a similar way to a regular cup, gradually guiding the child towards greater independence.
The Skandino® Plate is designed to facilitate independent feeding.
The vertical edges help keep food inside the plate, while the channeled angle makes it easier to use a spoon. The sloped bottom guides food towards the corner of the plate, making it simpler to scoop.
The Skandino® Spoon features a wide ergonomic handle, designed to provide a firm and comfortable grip during the child's various developmental stages.
Materials and features
The Skandino® set is made from an innovative bio-composite material, bio-based, composed of sugar cane and wood fiber from certified Nordic forests.
