Delivery & Returns

This information details the shipping, delivery, and right of withdrawal procedures for purchases made on the website https://bottegadaponte.it. The terms provided herein are supplementary to and consistent with the Site's general Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Processing and Shipping Times

All orders are processed within 24-48 business hours of purchase confirmation. Shipping is handled by InPost or UPS express couriers. Estimated delivery times vary by destination:

  • Italy: 2-4 business days.

  • Europe: 5-10 business days.

Delivery terms are indicative and not binding. Bottega Da Ponte cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or force majeure.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated automatically and displayed during the checkout process before order completion. There are thresholds for exemption from shipping costs:

  • Italy: Free shipping for orders over €49.90.

  • Europe: Free shipping for orders over €129.00.

Once shipped, the user will receive an automatic email containing the tracking number (tracking link) to monitor the delivery status.

Transfer of Risk and Transport Damage

Pursuant to Article 63 of the Consumer Code, the risk of loss or damage to products transfers to the user only when the user (or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier) takes physical possession of the goods.

Should the package show visible damage or alterations upon delivery, the user is required to follow the procedure below:

  1. Sign with reservation: Accept the delivery, strictly adding the wording: "Accepted with reservation – damaged package" to the courier's receipt. In the absence of such written complaint, it will not be possible to proceed with claims for compensation or replacement against the carrier.

  2. Photographic documentation: Take detailed photographs of the outer packaging (including the shipping label) and the damaged products inside.

  3. Report: Send a written report, accompanied by images, to customer service (info@bottegadaponte.it) within 24-48 hours of receiving the goods.

2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (RETURN POLICY)

A customer acting as a Consumer (B2C) has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without giving reasons, within 14 days from the day on which they acquire physical possession of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal (Art. 59 of the Consumer Code)

The right of withdrawal is strictly excluded for:

  • The supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygienic or health protection reasons and were opened after delivery (including, but not limited to: cosmetic products, creams, personal care and hygiene products without their original seal or partially used).

  • The supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized.

B2B Sales (Professionals)

The provisions on the right of withdrawal apply exclusively to private consumers. Purchases made by professional users with a VAT number are excluded from these protections, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.

3. HOW TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with current regulations on distance contracts (Legislative Decree 209 of December 31, 2025, implementing EU Directive 2023/2673), the user can exercise the right of withdrawal simply and immediately.

Access to the Returns Portal

On the Site, there is a dedicated button/link for exercising the right of withdrawal, visibly placed in the footer.

  • Registered users: Can initiate the procedure either by using the dedicated button/link in the footer or by accessing the returns section within their personal account.

  • Guest users: Can access the same guided and simplified procedure directly from the button/link in the footer, without needing an existing account.

The consumer's right to send any other explicit declaration of withdrawal to the email address info@bottegadaponte.it remains unaffected.

Shipping of Returned Goods

Products for which the right of withdrawal has been exercised must be shipped to the following address:

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the direct costs of returning the goods are entirely borne by the user. The goods travel under the user's responsibility until receipt at Bottega Da Ponte's warehouses; therefore, the use of a trackable shipping method is recommended.

4. CONDITION OF GOODS, VERIFICATION AND REFUND

Integrity Conditions

Returned products must be undamaged, in their original packaging, complete in all parts (including packaging, accessory documentation, and seals), unused, and in conditions suitable for commercial resale.

Refund Times and Methods

Once the products are received and their conformity with the integrity conditions is verified, Bottega Da Ponte will proceed with the refund of the amount paid within 14 days of receiving the goods.

  • The refund will be issued using the same payment method chosen by the user at the time of purchase.

  • Pursuant to Article 56 of the Consumer Code, the refund includes the costs of initial standard shipping. Additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a personalized or more expensive delivery type than the standard offered by the Site are expressly excluded.

  • If the returned products show a devaluation due to handling other than that necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods, the return may be refused or the refund amount proportionally reduced.
